nvm I got it I had to update forge in the zip file where you get the modpack from (it's in the manifest file, incase anyone who needs help is looking at this), and also change it in server-setup-config.yaml. Also tyy and sorry that it tooks so long

There are 2 files on the curseforge page, one for the modpack and 1 server starter zip file.

How do I update/ choose which forge version I'm using, there is only 1 file?

This came up when I retried.

When I try to start the server it doesn't start. The modpack is The Winter Rescue, if it matterss.

When I try to start the server it just doesn't create files. I'm on java 8 and the forge versions is 1.16.5-36.2.23.
