    How to add a custom screen effects?

    Hey! I'm currently working on a mod that adds food that causes different effects when consumed. The second day I can not think of the implementation of the most simple object that increases the contrast of the screen. At first I thought about turning on shaders at the end of the event, but shaders are still too complicated for me. Are there any options to add a custom overlay to the game to increase contrast?
