The GUI when the server launches shows it only has about 4 gigs allocated.

Hi! I'm trying to set up a 1.18 modded server. Everything is running smoothly, except for allocating more ram. After uncommenting the last line in the JVM arguments text file, and typing in the amount of ram I want, the server always launches at 4 gigabytes no matter what I do. I've tried this with different java versions, without mods, and I even tried it on an entirely different computer, and I can't get the server to launch with more ram. I have seen a few people with the same issue online, but never the answer. Help would be appreciated!
