    cant install forge for 1.5.1 (PLEASE READ ALL THE WAY)

    So I got a modpack that needed forge for 1.5.1 so i downloaded it. i looked at tutorials and when i went to .minecraft in my appdata folder, i opened the bin folder but didn't see minecraft.jar only some folders which had nothing useful. no matter what i did i couldn't find it. i even searched my entire drive and couldn't find ANY file named minecraft.jar the closest i could find is minecraft_server.jar but that is for mcedit. i cant find any newer version of the mods in it or the modpack itself if anyone could help me just find where minecraft.jar is i would love that
