Game is not starting with Forge (Failed to run processor Invalid entry CRC)
I came up with solution in case someone got similar issue. After banging my head against the wall for two weeks, i figured out, that it is all fault of the new Linux ntfs driver. I'm not going into details how i found this out, and what were symptoms of this issue, but here's solution: You'll need Windows's chkdsk utility, which comes with any Windows installation/live environment. Then run chksdk D: /F (drive letter can be different). Be aware, that it will also delete any files or directories, that contain invalid symbols.

Unfortunately that didn't work either. MD5 checksum of both new, and old files also match (91c8005d6c3e635dbdef135938200326). Installer log is pretty much the same, but i'll leave it here just in case. Also, to prevent confusion i changed fstab a bit, so /run/media/* is now just /media/*.

Thanks for the reply. Unfortunately this did not fix the issue. I moved file to another location, just in case i'll need it later, and let MultiMC redownload minecraft-1.18.2-client.jar, but issue still present, with exactly the same error. Just in case i verified MD5 checksum (91c8005d6c3e635dbdef135938200326) of both files, and they matched. After that i also tried removing entire libraries directory, to exclude any other library corruptions, with full redownload, but that didn't work either. So probably there's something else corrupted, but i don't know exactly what is.

Game is not starting with Forge (Failed to run processor Invalid entry CRC)
Some prelude: Minecraft can be started without Forge, but can not be with. Issue appeared after sudden power loss, old installation (Minecraft 1.12.2, with Forge 14.23.5.838) hangs up, and loads single core to 100%. To be exact, this is the last string in the log. [main/INFO] [LaunchWrapper]: Calling tweak class net.minecraftforge.fml.relauncher.CoreModManager$FMLPluginWrapper However, issue is still present with recent versions. Installing new versions of Forge and Minecraft. Installing Forge 40.0.44 on clean instance of Minecraft 1.18.2 results in this error Here's latest log Things i tried to resolve this issue by myself: Reinstalling MultiMC Creating new instance in MultiMC, to avoid interferences Reinstalling Java Reinstalling entire OS Tryying to set up Forge on official Minecraft launcher Regarding Forge installer on official launcher Attempt to install Forge results in exactly the same issue, and can not be installed. Here's installer log
