    1.5.1 Problems Running on Ubuntu 12.04

    I was selecting all the files in the minecraft folder, right clicking, selecting compress, and specifying minecraft.jar. I'm not sure what they are using on the backend, but it makes corrupt jar files. I installed fastjar and compressed the minecraft.jar file from a terminal and minecraft started up with no issues.

    I can't seem to get fml for 1.5.1 running on Ubuntu 12.04 LTS. I have it running on my Mac with no issues. Anyone have any success with 1.5.1 on Ubuntu 12.04?
