Sorry, updated with forge version, I was a bit irritated after trying for a while.

Yes I have, after just downloading, extracting and running install.bat.

Whenever I try to set-up Minecraft Forge with Eclipse, the "simple" way, the folders or the jar imports doesn't link at all. I'm using forge v. 9.10.1.871, though this has always been a problem for me but now I can't seem to do it manually either. (not a pro)

Is there any downsides with using proxies as gui handlers?
