I recently downloaded Forge 1.18.2 as well as a few mods for it. I made sure that everything is in the correct folders and that all the necessary files are installed. And yet, when I launch the game, whenever I go to check what mods I have on, the mods in my folder don't show up in the list. If I click to show the mods folder, the mods are there. If I go into a world, they don't work there too.
I do not know why this is happening or how I can fix it. Help would be appreciated.
EDIT: Turns out the files were not for forge, but for Quilt. It didn't say so in the name so I didn't notice.
