  2. That is strange, every single guide I've watched on it has another file, and when I try to do every single step but the ones using that file everything works 1 to 1, but that file is used to start the server in all the guides.
  3. No, in all the guides it looked like I needed the .json file to start it Well, I downloaded forge 1.16.5 Opened it Clicked "Install serveer" it downloaded and it created a folder with the files but it was missing one, the one needed to start the server
  4. Hello, so I've been wanting to make a modded server for quite some time, and I finally pulled myself together and tried to do it. I watched a few guides and very early on I had a problem, I got the server downloaded with no problems. However, this is where things take a turn. (My server is 1.16.5) When you create a file for the server it's supposed to have the following files libraries forge-.1.16.5-36.2.35.jar (this can change depending on what forge version you use, I just used the latest) 1.16.5.json and minecraft_server.1.16.5.jar However, I do not have the file 1.16.5.json I've tried redownloading recommended and newest files of Java tried different Notepad apps and everything I could come up with. Nothing. Does someone have a fix?
