    Minecraft 1.18.2 creating item shooting a projectile

    Hey there! I'm working on a custom mod for a while and I would like to add a staff that shoots a projectile via right click (eg fireball, iceball, etc.) However, I fail a little in the implementation. I tried to use the SmallFireball or LargeFireball object. With this I only managed to get the shot to shoot a curve. However, I would like to write a separate entity for it to customize it. Unfortunately I don't know how to do that in 1.18 and hope you can help me! Thank you already
