    i wrote this a bit ago, now it has been around 5 hours of trying, i have downloaded the new version of forge 1.19 but it still didnt fix it. im going to rip my arm off

    when I try to run any version of forge in the Minecraft launcher, the launcher crashes with exit code 1. I do not have any mods installed, I have reinstalled java, Minecraft, and forge and have spent the last 2 hours doing random bug fixes on the internet to no avail. this is my last attempt to fix it before I go insane. The version I am trying to get is 1.19 but I have tried with different versions, and it's the same thing. if anyone can help me I will be so grateful
