    i see what you mean by installing a newer version of Java. I'll try that.

    I've installed and run 1.18.2, the official release, on computer, so it can't be outdated. What config errors should I be looking for in hosts?

    I keep getting the "Failed to run processor: javax.net.ssl.SSLHandshakeException:PKIX path building failed: sun.security.provider.certpath.SunCertPathBuilderException: unable to find valid certification path to requested target" error when trying to install the forge launcher for 1.18.2. I can't track down the error log either as I do not know where it is or what to do with it. Help would be appreciated.
