Hello, I have been trying to instal mods to my minecraft 1.5.2 recently. I found a few I would like and they said they needed forge. So I downloaded forge, Opened my minecraft.jar file in a winzip, Deleted the 2 Mojang files and the one Manifest file In Meta-Inf(I have also tried deleting Meta-Inf, And keeping it which of course did not work). I then copied all the files from Forge 1.5.2 universal v7.8.0.684 into the minecraft.jar file. I saved the file and started minecraft. After forge finished installing the mojang screen popped up and then went to the normal menu. Having done that I closed it down and placed my mod into the mod folder under the .minecraft file and started it up again. This time it loaded up to the mojang splash screen and then to a black screen and stayed. I have tried this with many different type of mods, I have reinstalled and wiped minecraft many times, I have tried loading it through Magic launcher and MultiMC as well as standard. All of which have failed at the same point.
