  1. Issue resolved after downloading java 16 (previously had java 8 )
  2. I reopened the vanilla minecraft launcher and started up the launcher for a 1.19.2 game. I then closed the game after it updated and opened the game. Afterwards I tried to download forge again. I got further in the process but received a new error. "Failed to run processor: javax.net.ssl.SSLHandshakeException:sun.security.validator.ValidatorException:PKIX path building failed: sun.security.provider.certpath.SunCertPathBuilderException: unable to find valid certification path to requested target. See log for more details."
  3. Trying to download forge 1.19.2 43.1.4 and keep receiving "downloading minecraft client failed, invalid checksum. Try again or use the vanilla launcher to install the vanilla version." I have tried uninstalling minecraft launcher and reinstalling.
