    Says "failed to download file" in minecraft launcher

    cece posted a topic in Support & Bug Reports
    I have java downloaded and the forge Minecraft version i want to be downloaded which is 1.12.2 - 14.23.5.2860, I tried to open Minecraft with the forge version but it says, "Failed to download file. Error details: Couldn't select a valid version of the Java runtime to download." Can someone help me?
