Thank you so much! I added that block back in and it all works now. Yeah I just started learning how to make a mod and code like 3 days ago so ive got a long ways to go so ill for sure look at the debug. that deepslate ore was in there form the tutorial video i was following to make their mod but when i moved it to a new mod project so i could add what i wanted i cut out some of the blocks/items to only keep as ref for when i added new blocks but i guess i missed that. I just added the deepslate ore back into blocklist and problem resolved.

Let me clarify, it seems like a issue with the mineable option or needs_iron json. It will mine eventually but will not drop any loot
