    Alternative mod folder for diffrent versions

    Im trying to have it so that my game will launch with the mods from the same version without going out of the launcher after setting it up. I know that you can change the game directory but that is just such pain due to me not having the same settings,resource packs, world, a lot of mod things like distant horizon's world downloads and much more. so the only real way to do it with diffrent game directories is with crtl c'ing everything after i quit and moving it to all the other version folders but this is just worse than changing out my mods. I know you can do it with in folder folders like "1.8.9" but that for some reason stopped working at like 1.16.
