  1. sounds kinda similar to my issue, do you have an AMD graphics card? if so, this seems to have worked for me:
  2. ^ it should be public now! also merry Christmas
  3. It's pending moderation, any other way I can post it?
  4. Hello! I am trying to play a modpack ( which yes, my pc is powerful enough to run ), however, everytime I load into the server it crashes after about 15~ seconds. I was able to play for about 10~ minutes a little bit ago, and even got it to work for like 2 hours yesterday, but both sessions ended in a crash, and after that I couldn't load into a world. So far, I've uninstalled and resintalled java, tried java 7 instead of 8, uninstalled my graphics drivers and restarted my PC, deleted the contents of the config file and joined the server so it would replace them, upped the amount of ram on profile options to 9024m (I have 16g of ram on my PC), and even tried making a smaller mod pack, disabling mods that the 2 modpacks shared, and still nothing. The modpack doesn't seem to be the issue either, since I have 3 friends who are currently running the modpack with no issues, and have been doing so for 2 days. I keep getting error code -1073740940 Here's the last crash log I got, though I haven't gotten a crash log the last 3 times I've run the game. Same issue however. https://pastebin.com/PUHUgT91 Any help is appreciated!
  5. Scratch that, game decided to continue crashing everytime I load into a world after about an hour. Not sure what to try next.
  6. Alright, I think I got it to work, I change the "xmx" and the "xms" on the launcher options, I've yet to crash and I've loaded a fair amount of chunks. I think it's working now, thanks!
  7. I'd fix that by going into installations ( on the minecraft launcher ) and going down to "JVM arguments" right? If so, just did that and upped it to 12288, loaded faster but still crashed when loading a new chunk
  8. I have 16 gigabytes of ram, in the "profile options" I have it set to 8,000mb, would that be enough or too much?
  9. Works fine loading into a new world, but once I start moving / loading new chunks it crashes. Pastebin here: https://pastebin.com/fyHH8mp2 if anyone can help, thanks!
