Bro im NO EXPERT and NO SMART GUY but i think the problem is that you got the different FORGE version, and that the mod needs A DIFFERENT FORGE VERSION, for example i use 47.0.3 forge mods, but 47.0.19 forge mods wont work on my old forge version (47.0.3), so what i suggest is look at the minecraft home screen on the bottom left to see the forge version, and then go to your mod in curseforge and check the version u download/used in the files. they should match up! Another example is that i use HUD+ mod, and i use 47.0.3 forge 1.20.1, so the HUD+ has the correct 1.20.1 minecraft version, and the correct 47.0.3 version! I Hope this helped someone! :D
