Those damn penguins!! I was near an iceberg biome, so that's probably why the crashes happened. I removed the mod, now everything seems to be back to normal. Thank you so much for your help buddy

I am playing on the Minecraft 1.20.1 version playing the New Game modpack (https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/modpacks/new-game-modpack-release) and right now the game crashes the minute I open it. I've been playing it for a few days now (not sure if this is what caused it but) I decided to put all of my stuff in backpacks and move out from my house to somewhere else. I encountered the crash in the process of exploring.
