    After some further troubleshooting, I have found the problem. It relied on the Java version I was using. The 1.19.2 server that was previously installed needed Java 17, while a 1.16.5 server requires Java 8.

    Hello, for the past few hours, I've been attempting to run a 1.16.5 forge server on an Ubuntu computer. Every time I try, it isn't forge but instead a Vanilla server. I've previously ran servers on this same computer before on different versions and they would always be forge, exactly how I wanted. The most recent was a modded 1.19 server. Any ideas on how I can fix this?
