  1. Firstly, thank you for the reply! Secondly, wow I guess I'm on the wrong version of minecraft! On boot up the bottom left corner indeed says it is 1.5.1. Wow I feel like a moron However, this brings me to a seperate issue: MultiMC tells me the version is, instead, 1.5.2 and that even when making a new instance with my minecraft jar it says it is 1.5.1, which I'm guessing is caused by the jar/original folder. How do I update my original minecraft's folder/jar? Should I just run minecraft on its own without MultiMC, update it, back up all my stuff, and then remake the instances with the updated game folder, I guess? EDIT: Aaaaaaand yep! That absolutely did the trick! My original minecraft is now 1.5.2! Now I just gotta replace the intances's files with the new ones, update forge and mods, and test it out. Thank you so much for the help!
  2. Hi there, MCForge forums. I have been having a huge problem that I have been unable to fix and therefore have been unable to update Minecraft at all. Anywho, the title states the gist of it: no matter what mods I have or do not have, if I have or do not have saves, or even when I play vanilla MC, whenever I add any version of forge 1.5.2 to one of my MultiMC instances it always crashes. Thinking it was an issue with a mod(s) or save(s), I backed up my saves and mods, deleted them from the instances, and did a test on vanilla minecraft. However, even on vanilla minecraft, any 1.5.2 version of forge would crash the game. (Note that I tested vanilla minecraft without forge and it worked fine) I have searched everywhere online and it seems no one else has had this problem or that their issues were easily fixed by removing mods when mine was not fixed that way. Here's the crash log: Help is super appreciated because I'd love to play the newest versions of minecraft and my favorite mods again and I'm kinda sad that I can't right now. I will provide any extra info to help if needed. Thank you in advance!
