    Maybe you sould try deleting everything in the config menu and i know this sound dumb but it worked for me and if it is still not working go in to the "mods" folder and look for mods that are not in your wanted version and create a folder if you dont have one already and put the unwanted mod in the specific folder Hope it helps;)
