My friend recently wanted to play with minecraft launcher mods, we downloaded the latest version of java, then we wanted to download forge 1.8.9 for hypixel mods, he installed the version, logged in, logged out and downloaded forge recommended from the original site, then he clicked open file using the Java platform, the console opens for a second and immediately closes and nothing else, is there a solution to this?
