    Can't find the mod file

    Hey guys, I'm new here. I just got minecraft the other day. I downloaded Forge. The Recommended (Universal) version. I copied all the .jar files and pasted them in the Minecraft.jar file. But there is no mod file for me to instal mods in. Can someone help me fix this problem?
