  1. So, I'm making a fruit mod, which naturally requires me making quite a few leaf textures All of the textures have transparency where there should be, and the item texture is transparent where it should be, but when the block is placed down in the world, the transparency is replaced by black, even when on fancy or fabulous graphics settings--and I know the settings are correct because vanilla leaves are transparent I have the model parent set to: "parent": "minecraft:block/leaves" and I've tinkered with various render types (minecraft:cutout, minecraft:cutout_mipped, minecraft:cutout_mipped_all) and to some extent they work...but for some reason they allow me to see entirely through any block they are placed against, allowing me to see underground caverns and whatnot when placed on the ground. This is obviously not quite what I'm going for. I'm entirely out of ideas, someone help ;-;
