Can't start Minecraft with Forge Modloader installed.

I don't know what the issue was, I can't find a log file, however when I used MultiMC to install it it was all fine Thanks anyway -
Hey I've recently tried to install the new Aether mod, which requires Forge. Whenever I follow the install instructions and I start up my Minecraft, it is unable to load. After clicking 'log in' the game says 'updating Minecraft' as it always does, but then it freezes just as the bar is almost completely full. If I delete the Meta-inf from the Minecraft.jar file I get a screen the looks like: I'm using Windows 8; if it matters. Please help KingRogue
