  1. i pasted the mods into the test instance and I'm getting the same error. everything works fine until I press the "create new world" button. wtf
  2. Running a blank instance works just fine. Im so confused especially since the crash log doesn't specifically point towards any mod
  3. since 1.20 minecraft defaults to the world creation screen when you first click on the "singleplayer" button, and this is causing a crash for my instance. for a second or two, the game says "preparing for world creation," then it switches to "saving world" and crashes with exit code -1. this is what the mc launcher gives me on crash "The game crashed whilst mouseclicked event handler Error: java.lang.IllegalStateException: Failed to load registries due to above errors." I've never seen this error before and I'm usually decent at troubleshooting Minecraft, but this is really stumping me. here a pastebin link to my full crash report. https://pastebin.com/myf7Z6wj
