  1. Just tried magic launcher:
  2. It is (ForgeModLoader-client-0). But like I mentioned it didn't really get a chance to install correctly (fatal error), assuming this is what it finishes doing after connecting. I also don't understand why no errors show up here, but then again I was surprised to find the forge logs there at all.
  3. Hello everyone! This is my first post here, so I salute you all! I hope this is in the right place and rightly posted, if not, my apologies! Here are the details: i - Clean install of MC 1.5.2. ii - Downloaded: minecraftforge-universal-1.5.2-7.8.1.737.zip iii - Opened minecraft.jar (WinRar) iv - Opened minecraftforge-universal-1.5.2-7.8.1.737.zip (WinRar) v - Dragged all files from minecraftforge-universal-1.5.2-7.8.1.737.rar into minecraft.jar vi - Opened META-INF inside of minecraft.jar and deleted all files starting with "MOJANG" as per instruction. vii - Closed all archive files and opened Minecraft ---|> launcher opens viii - Clicked on "launch" ix - Text-box appears: "FML is setting up your minecraft environment". The moment the window changes to "Library file scala-library.jar was downloaded and verified successfully" (at 0% on the progress bar for this "task") , the following text-box appears: "There was a fatal error setting up minecraft and FML Minecraft cannot launch in its current configuration Please consult the file C:\Users\***\Roaming\.minecraft\ForgeModLoader-client-0.log for further information" Minecraft crashes and cannot be launched anymore, therefore clean install (back to step i). Repeat steps iii, iv, v and the DELETED the folder META-INF. Continue with steps and same result is obtained. Read some posts and tried this: -Repeated steps i throughout vi -Downloaded fml_libs.zip which includes the files which the launcher attempts to download. -Disconnected from internet, just in case. - Placed these files in the folder "lib" (C:\Users\***\Roaming\.minecraft\lib) -Launched MC Same error. Repeated this last one but WITH internet-connection - same result. So now I spent a few hours (literally) googling around to find a solution. If it really is something something silly I DO apoligize! Anyone have an idea? Thank you for your time folks, hope to be able to fix this soon!!! System: OS: Windows 7 Ultimate (x64) CPU: Intel® Core ™ i5-3570K CPU @ 3.40GHz GPU: GeForce GTX 660Ti (Driver version 314.07) Memory: 8 Gb RAM Everything seems to download correctly...? I don't understand.
