  1. Yeah I tried that before and it didn't work, but I already solved it with installing the full version of openjdk since Fedora comes with the headless version preinstalled
  2. Thanks for replying but I only have openjdk 21.0.3
  3. Go to https://files.minecraftforge.net/net/minecraftforge/forge/ and click on the version you need, then click the installer button to download it.

  5. When I try to open the forge installer using the java -jar command it doesn't work. I'm using Fedora 40. The log file If I say --installServer that works but I don't want to install the server. Edit: Fedora comes with a headless java installed so that's why it wasn't working. I had to install the full openjdk. sudo dnf install java-21-openjdk
