Yes, I've checked EAQ. I've also downloaded the lib files just in case. I've also checked the threads, but it seems like few people get answers since they ask for help, but never include the logs. Then they never seem to come back with the log. Sooo...I'm hoping I haven't missed it, but if I did, I apologize.
Disclaimer: I'm a mom trying to help her kids play MC. I'm not computer illiterate, but I also don't play MC, so I'm not familiar with it at all.
I'm having issues getting FML to load mods. Every .zip file I've put in the mods folder makes MC stick on the splash screen or crash. The only mods I've gotten to work are Herobrine (because it tells you to put files in the .jar and in .minecraft) and Crysis_Guns because it's just a folder. But if I try to load any of the the .zip files, I get nothing.
I've tried opening the zip and creating new zips but that didn't work either. I've also tried using MagicLauncher. That was another nightmare.
The last mod I tried was Superheroes Unlimited (in the log below), but I also tried Fossil, Animated Player, and several others.
Been at it for several hours now, and I'm about ready to ban MC from my home. My kids will not be happy about that. So help would be nice, if anyone has anything to offer. Thanks.
