Something in the Alex's Caves mod is preventing Distant Horizons from rendering. However, I don't want to get rid of Alex's Caves, as it is a part of my personal modded experience. Can someone please find the issue for me?

So there's a mod I found earlier, and it's called Hyperworld, which is a mod that allows you to explore the 4th dimension. It seemed really cool to add into my modpack, until I realized, it's only available for 1.20.2 on Fabric, and my modpack with ~200 mods is on 1.20.1 on Forge. So I was wondering if anyone can port it from 1.20.2 Fabric to 1.20.1 Forge.

I'm assuming the Creative Crate contains multiple creative mode items?

are you using the CurseForge app? If so, go to your modpack and select the mod with the checkmark and then click delete (if you are in Tile view) If you are in Table View, click 'delete' next to your mod. If you are in List view, click the mod, then click delete. If you are not using the CurseForge app, go to the modded java installation either using Mojang Launcher or File Explorer on your computer then find the jar file. After finding the jar file, right-click it, then click Delete. I hope that helps.

Okay, now i need to find out which Config File in Alex's Caves to change to get DH to render I suspect it might be in General > Generation or Vanilla Changes or Client > Visuals

I found the problem for Distant Horizons: The in-game chat said: Distant Horizons: Alex's Caves detected You may have to change the Alex's Caves Config for DH to render.

This topic was Resolved. Underlying Problem: Sodium/Embeddium Dynamic Lights and Oculus (the shaders that I use for minecraft) was messing with Embeddium, which caused the crash. I deleted those 2 mods and it worked. I won't be using shaders anyway on my huge modpack.

It even occurs when launching via Mojang Launcher, because of "Internal error. Name: REQUEST_FAILED Error details: Unable to prepare assets for download"

The crash happens after the Item Colorizer log after an error occurs building the event handler

Annnnd it also happens with 47.3.6. 47.3.5 works good tho, but JEI requires 47.3.6 or higher

So option 1 is the one I want to use, however, it's not working for some reason. For option 2, I am playing on Singleplayer, but the Essential Mod might have something to do with that due to it not working. For Option 3, the Distant Horizons mod should be Singleplayer-Server-Side (aka the world, and thus, the server, is client side), but it's still not working

I think you don't have enough RAM allocated to the Modpack. You can modify the amount of RAM allocated by going into the modpack submenu, clicking the three dots next to "Download Server Pack" (which is next to the Play button) then clicking Profile Options, then uncheck Use System Memory Settings (if that's already checked) then use the slider to set the amount of RAM allocated (maybe use around 9000 - 10000MB or higher). But for the Forge Version error? I don't know, it's probably a stability thing.

So, I have found the reason why Distant Horizons has been unable to keep the chunks loaded: Something in the Alex's Caves mod is preventing DH from rendering. However, I don't want to get rid of Alex's Caves, as it is a part of my personal modded experience. Can someone please find the issue for me?

I have successfully resolved the issue: You can just use Notepad to configure the server config without crashing the game

So there's a problem: The mod "Configured" crashes my game when I try to add a milestone from its menu to "Spice Of Life: Carrot Edition" (I'm going to abbreviate it to SOLC for this). This is done on 1.20.1 on Singleplayer and i am launching straight from the Curseforge app. The crash log claims to have noticed an empty field in the SOLC config (which is the one I'm creating) and it just decides to crash all because of that. is there any possible way to fix/bypass this? -Justy4956
