Okay, but does the modpack works with 1.12 or just with 1.12.2, because I need the Forge client specifically for Minecraft 1.12, not 1.12.2

I've recently tried to play Minecraft in 1.12 version to use some old mods, but every time I try to start the game, no matter which version of Forge for Minecraft 1.12 I choose to download, the Launcher gives me the following error message: Failed to download file.
