  1. Well it turned out I had to manually assign the java program to open, by default it only allowed me to choose from notepad or 7-zip, but now the cmd only shows up for a second before going way, and nothing happened. After printing screen, because it only showed up for a split second, it said: Error: Could not find or load main class. Is there anyone here that has had a similar, and can tell me a way to fix this? If not, I'll resort to Google, just thought I might get a better answer here.
  2. I REALLY hate to sound like an idiot, but can someone please tell me how to use the installer versions of FML. Whenever I download it, I get it in a .jar format, and you can only run .exe formats. Can someone please tell me how to install it? I even tried changing the file extension to a .exe but to no avail. If it makes any difference I am running a Windows 7 OS.
  3. Yes, both of them were running 1.6.1
  4. and before anyone starts yelling at me about the client log... it was blank.
  5. I went and made a new version for minecraft and named it 1.6.1_modded, sounds simple enough right? Well I finished making it, removed the META file, and changed it so everything worked. I tested and everything worked fine, and when I dragged the contents of the Forge zip file into the 1.6.1_modded.jar it seemed everything would work out fine. I started it, launched the 1.6.1_modded version of minecraft and... nothing. No mods bar under multiplayer. No start up of FML. Nothing. For some reason it didn't work. It ran like normal vanilla minecraft, with no FML. Can anyone tell me what I did wrong? Note: I tried installing the 8.9.0.764 universal version, and when that didn't work I used my backup to undo it and tried the installer version. Both of them did as I said earlier.
