    Need help invalid max heap size

    im having an issue similar im using java 8 but it wont let me dedicate more than 1g of ram Invalid maximum heap size: -Xmx4G The specified size exceeds the maximum representable size. Error: Could not create the Java Virtual Machine. Error: A fatal exception has occurred. Program will exit.
