Hey I'm trying to install the latest forge version (1.7.2-Forge10.12.0.982) I'm using the installer found on the download forge page, I start it, use it to install. It says Forge is installed no errors. But when I try to play (making a forge profile with the forge version) and then click play, the game does not start. The launcher restart, and I get this log: http://pastebin.com/6VHQRRwB Anyone can tell me why that happen?

Guess I'm f*** up then because I send a message about it and I received the following: "I will change nothing You just have to follow the post that I have written which explains everything about the configuration folder Good luck with reading " And I don't understand a word of what is explained in that mentioned post... So dropping the detector is my last option...

Since I know nothing of Java and just want to use the mod i'm gonna send the link of this page over to Ellian and see what happen... Else if anyone had the patience to do me a step-by-step tutorial on how to make it work... Like you said we could change the code to shorten it and make it work perfectly, so just in three lines: which files, what line to change, and by what? Thanks a lot anyway...

Re-launching the subject because it's really annoying: Is there no one here that knows how to solve that issue?!

So after posting some messages onto Ellian topic, I was told that the problem came from forge (http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/193443-v162-ellians-materialdetector-v27/page__st__1760)(See LoRam100 answer at the bottom), and to complain here, which I came to do: Every time I start the game, the config file isn't detected and I have to re input every of my setting for the Ellian detector mod. Is there any way to fix this, or any planned update of forge to fix this? Thanks in advance.

Sorry, I didn't know you could run .jar like .exe I thought those were only stocking files like .zip Now I'll know ^^ (nice link for the google though )

Okay I downloaded the last file, installer version, but I thought there would be something like... a exe or whatever to launch to do all the stuff? Or isn't that what installer mean?

Hey sorry to bother you all but I'm finding myself in front of a big problem and I simply can't solve it alone. I tried installing the latest forge (8.9.0.771) with the new minecraft (1.6) and using this tutorial because I could not find the installer and the tutorial found here simply did nothing (http://www.6minecraft.net/how-to-install-minecraft-forge-in-minecraft-1-6-1-guide/) So far so good, Forge was detected and seemed to be working properly... Then I realized it had started the game with an offline session. I thought it might just be a mistake so I try again... same thing. Over and Over again. I launch the normal minecraft, all is good, my skin appear etc... I use the forged profile and I can only get the steeve skin and appear offline... Anyone know why this happen? (It might be related but my achievements get reset every time I use forge too)
