  1. Ok I just looked at a similar thread http://www.minecraftforge.net/forum/index.php/topic,10113.0.html in which LexManos was in as well, I didn't realise that what was possible was changed in 1.6 and I am sorry. You mentioned I could fix this myself, do I need any coding knowledge or is it just a JVM argument?
  2. Wait so I can just put the mod in the mods folder? Even if on the thread it says to put in the 1.6.2.jar?
  3. But they work on their own, just not with forge Also the mods are optifine, reis minimap and a water shader, 2 of which are incredibly popular mods, why should minecraft forge make sure we can't use them?
  4. whenever I try to install any mods that directly edit the 1.6.2.jar (or any other version.jar) with minecraft forge the games crashes apon start of the game it crashes. i installed minecraft forge first using the installer and it ran fine there are 3 mods that edited the 1.6.2.jar that i have installed that on their own with the same install and they work fine, but if i try to install minecraft forge then these mods it crashes here is the ForgeModLoader-client-0 in a zip file: https://www.dropbox.com/s/qmodgb76xo153ug/minecraft%20forge%20error.zip
