  1. I've been a big fan of Forge for a long time now (I still am) and It's never been a problem for me until 1.6.1 came out with the new launcher and such. Excited to test out the new things that are coming out in the modding community I decided to start with installing the core to it all, Forge. After getting a clean install of 1.6.2, I went to the site and downloaded the installer for 1.6.2-9.10.0.789 and clicked "Install Client" with all the correct pathing to my minecraft folder.. Noticing the new folder in my versions I went on to opening minecraft, switching the profile to Forge noticing it now says "Will be updated" while the default says "Up to date". I then click play and text appears in the development console and minecraft ceases to open. How do I fix it? I wanna mod minecraft again. :'( The text error in the development console
