    Mods not appearing

    hey all, I've downloaded the forge requirements java 21 and all. I have it appearing in my minecraft launcher. downloaded two mods so i can use a controller. but cant see to figure out how to get them to appear in game. i've created a mod folder and put the required mods in there. still nothing appearing in minecraft. when I click on open mod folder they both appear in there as well
