  1. I was wondering if it would be possible to reduce item durability when its placed in a chest. For example food would get molden after a certain amount of time. But would it be difficult to reduce the durability while the chunk where the chest is isn't loaded? If it is I would like to know how could you detect the moment when you place an item in a chest and then reduce it's durability instantly. Thanks in advance!
  2. Thanks I'll try if I can make it work. But could you somehow make it work like breaking stone blocks with hand? Eventually it breaks but you won't get any blocks from it. I would rather make it work like that since the only block in minecraft which is unbreakable by hand is bedrock. But if it is not possible then I'm satisfied with the other way.
  3. Hi! I am making a mod where you need an axe to chop down a tree. Don't worry I have figured it out how the player gets an axe. I was wondering how to make it so that you can't harvest logs with bare hands. Can Forge hook somehow into the hand or tree breaking methods or do I have to override the log blocks with my own (which I think causes problems with the tree generation)?
