Nevermind, the guy had annoying unnecessary steps.

If you actually watched the video you would know that I'm using the installer. Anyone else out there that isn't rude?

I was following install instructions here when it got to editing the JSON file. Version 9.10.0.804 has a different layout than the version he's using and I don't know which parts or parts of parts I should change. In the spoiler below is the code, if someone could highlight, etc what I need to change that'd be great.

I installed the minecraftforge-installer-1.6.2-9.10.0.804.jar file and I can't open it. I tried opening with Java but it sends me to a weird select menu thing and I tried Java(folder) --> jre7 --> bin --> java(application) but that doesn't do anything. Am I selecting the wrong thing or what?
