  1. It still doesn't work when I select play on the launcher, the launcher disappears like it's supposed to, but the game doesn't come up, there's no error or crash screen, just nothing happens. even with the new version of Forge. As far as I know it should go in 1.6.2-Forge9.10.0.846 .jar, does forge add somewhere else for me to put the mods or does forge just not allow it anymore?
  2. by .jar I mean the renamed copy of 1.6.2 .jar I've tried it by adding forge manually and using the installer. And if I'm not supposed to edit the .jar, then where do the mods I mentioned above go?
  3. I've been trying to install mods in minecraft 1.6.2 with forge 9.10.0.804, and it works fine when I add mods to the mods folder, but the ones that are supposed to go straight in the .jar file don't work. I've tried them without forge and with and without risugami's modloader and they work fine (except the ones that specifically require forge). the ones that I want to install so far that I can think of offhand are big trees, better villages, and village info. None of them work with forge, and while better villages doesn't work without it, the other two work fine together with or without risugami's modloader
