RabidMuffins

I downloaded the recommended install file for 1.6.2, but when I tell it to install, it gives me an error saying the libraries cannot be installed. I have looked through some other posts about this, but I am utterly confused. Could someone explain this clearly to me and tell me step by step what needs to be done?
