  1. I just tried that. I did all the steps I mentioned previously, but this time I actually created and played a new minecraft world on version 1.6.2 before closing it. Everything ran fine.
  2. I got the following error when I ran the installer and selected the client option: "These libraries failed to download. Try again. org.scala-lang:scala-library:2.10.2, org.scala-lang:scala-compiler:2.10.2" I downloaded the latest 1.6.2 installer for forge: 9.10.1.871. I did try the fix posted on the EAQ. I also tried a fix listed in another post by clearing my Java cache. Here are the steps that I tried: 1. Cleared my Java cache 2. Deleted my .minecraft folder (after I backed up) 3. Start the Minecraft loader. 4. Edit the profile to select Minecraft version 1.6.2. Save. 5. Start Minecraft and let it load. Then close. 6. Download http://personal.forgeessentials.com/luacs1998/libraries.zip and extracted to my .minecraft. I actually looked in the respective compiler and library folders to make sure the extraction put them in the right place. 7. Ran the installer downloaded from http://adf.ly/673885/http://files.minecraftforge.net/minecraftforge/minecraftforge-installer-1.6.2-9.10.1.871.jar I'd also like to point out that I did get 1.6.4 running. Unfortunately, the mod I want to use requires 1.6.2. Any help would be appreciated.
