i need help when i used minecraft server.exe i put my internal ip in the properties folder then people had to use there external ip to join it. with this (installing the forge server) method i have to use my internal ip in the server.properties and put it in the direct connect and it doesnt work for others only with me.i tried using my external and it still doesnt work people still cant join and YES i port forwarded.my server worked fine when using .exe
