  1. Ok, I will message the author. It does have to do with Farlanders, because it didn't happen until I installed that. Do you know of a possible way to fix it, or should I just leave you alone and ask the mod author? Also, why is 1.6 no longer supported? There are mod authors who haven't updated yet. You just tell me to update like that. I put a lot of time installing all these mods and trying to fix every other mod when it crashes, and I haven't even started my survival world yet. I want to get somewhat far in my world before I update everything. Some mods I really like haven't updated. While I think the era of 1.6.4 in modding is possibly nearing its end, I do not think it has reached it at all yet. Just my opinion.
  2. Ah. Direwolf comes to the rescue as always. The other tutorial I used didn't really explain the multiple instances thing very well. I'm not sure why what I was doing was wrong, but it was, and this works, so who cares?
  3. So I've been using Forge for quite a while all fine, until the 1.6 installer came out. I made a separate directory for this particular set of mods I wanted to use. But when I clicked to use it, it said: "The directory is missing a launcher profile. Please run the minecraft launcher first." However, I did run it through the launcher first, and it has a profile and everything! I renamed it, and it still didn't work. WHy is this happening?
