  1. Hey, I'm trying to run a Forge server on a windows 8 laptop. I ran this server on my desktop yesterday, but for some odd reason whenever a second person joins the server, the first one gets kicked. I thought it was because of a lack of allocated RAM (it kept giving that 'did the server time change or..' message), so I tried allocating more RAM. Still didn't work. The weird thing is that this exact same server worked perfectly fine yesterday.. So just now I tried running the server on my laptop. I had to install java first, so I did. I've got java 32 and 64 bit now ( I think ). When I made the server I got 2 .jar files from the download page, 1 named "minecraftforge-universal-1.6.2-9.10.1.871.jar" and the other one named "minecraft_server.1.6.2.jar". The "minecraft_server.1.6.2" is just a regular minecraft server. I tried running that, it works (except that I ofcourse got a lot of errors, but the launcher came up). When I try to run the forge server nothing happens. I just get the 'loading' cursor icon for half a second, but nothing else happens. I tried running the RUN.bat which I used to allocate more RAM on my desktop, which did start a cmd, but that only gave me this message: That cmd stayed for about 1 second, and then it dissapeared. I don't know why it doesn't work, on my desktop it works fine, and it uses the exact same files, I just copied them and transferred them with a usb stick. Also, I'm running ONLY Aether 2 (aether.jar, playercoreapi.jar and threadedlighting.jar) Does anyone know how to fix this? All help would be greatly appreciated ~CriticalRocket
