  1. I tried that and nothing showed up, just the loading curser for like two seconds then nothing popped up. No new folders or files were made either. The server itself works fine, but the "forge-1.7.2-10.12.0.971-universal" doesn't do anything. I looked up stuff all over the internet but I couldn't find anything. Thx in advance
  2. Oh yah I know that. Then once I installed the server into it's folder, I would run the server (with out touching the files) and it would open like a normal server. I would try run the universal and nothing would come up. Please tell me how I can get my server to run, so I am able to put mods into the mods folder! Thanks in advance
  3. I'm not exactly technically inclined, but I do know how to run a server.exe normally, but I wanted a server.jar to put some mods on. When I downloaded Forge I started it up (yes, I've used forge before) and instead of clicking "Install Client" I installed the Server (I've already installed it for the client). I then copied all the files from the universal Archive into the server Archive. I then tried to open the server but it wouldn't open. The windows 8 loading curser would show up but it would stop and nothing would show up. I also tried making a new Notepad document with the little link thing on the under the install document on the minecraft website. I already made a path to the java bin, in another attempt to get it to work. Plz help! If you need more info, tell me what to give you, and if it's a error report or something tell me how to get it cuz I have no idea From, Teenage girl trying to play on her server with friends Thanks in advance!
