  1. First: I'm VERY sorry if this was answered in some previous topic. I have read the EAQ as well as the topic of 1.7 news in Releases. I'll be happy to correct any mistakes I made in writing this. Thanks. Okay, not exactly sure how to start. Basically, does forge work for 1.7.4? In the good 'ol days when we had to manually install, forge 1.4.2 worked with 1.4.6 (For example. Not sure if these are real MC version numbers, too tired to look. ) But, now with the installer, it's making me run 1.7.2, and it installs under 1.7.2. Alright, cool. But, Minecraft spits out the crash of having a newer mod version, and older Minecraft version. Mods say they work for 1.7.4, but Forge has downloads for 1.7.2... The 1.7.4s can't be used with 1.7.2, and well, I'm confused. Should I just look for 1.7.2 mod versions, or should I attempt to install manual Forge? I'm very sorry if I did something wrong... It's my first topic post on the Forge site. Thanks.
