I’ve installed forge for 1.7.2 but don't know what to do next it just keeps going to the "do you want to install" page I'm on linex and need some help

not to long ago (about 5 min) i found out that you need to have internet on I was turning it off so it didn’t update yes I am stupid

I need some help with getting 1.7.2 forge for linex I’ve got the installer and installed it but I don't know what to do next please help me

I have a legit launcher and I can only go down to 1.7.4 but my account has been active since 1.6 why can't I go down to 1.6.4
